Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. Who we are
Docly provides free online tools at this website. If you have questions about this policy or your information, contact us at support@docly.my.id.
2. Information you enter into our tools
Our tools run in your web browser using JavaScript. The text, dates, numbers, images and documents you enter into a tool are processed on your device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
Some tools, such as the Resume Builder, save your entries in your browser's local storage so you can come back later. This data stays on your device. You can remove it with the Clear button or by clearing your browser data.
3. Information collected automatically
When you visit Docly, our hosting provider and analytics or advertising partners may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, referring and exit pages, pages viewed and date and time stamps. We use this information to run, secure and improve the website.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic and show advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work as expected.
5. Advertising and Google AdSense
We may show ads provided by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site, including ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
Where required by law, such as for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before using cookies for personalized advertising, and you can change your choice at any time.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Canada and some US states, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or restrict certain processing
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, email support@docly.my.id. Because tool data stays in your browser, we generally do not hold personal information about you beyond the technical data described above.
7. Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law applies, we process technical data based on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website, and we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies, including those used for personalized advertising.
8. Children
Docly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Third-party websites and services
Our pages load some code libraries from third-party content delivery networks, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
