About this password generator

Password strength comes mostly from length and true randomness. Each extra character multiplies the number of possibilities, which is why the strength bar reports entropy in bits. This tool picks characters using your browser's cryptographic random generator and guarantees at least one character from every type you select. Use a different password for every account and store them in a reputable password manager rather than reusing or memorising them.
